(*disclaimer*) I know that my brother in Bemidji, and much of my family in northern Minnesota are experiencing even colder weather. This post is for my friends around the country who think they know what cold is.
Here is what weather.com is reporting at 9:46am today. Keep in mind, it has warmed since early this am.

For the record, the mercury was at -33 this morning when "brother in Bemidji" rolled out of bed. Its -25 now, but check out what we have to look forward to...
Forecast for tomorrow from weather.com: Bitterly cold. Windy with snow flurries and snow showers possible before noon. Partly cloudy later. Dangerous wind chills approaching -40F. High -6F. Winds NNW at 15 to 25 mph.
Anyone want to come to Bemidji for a 5K, Polar Plunge, ice fishing tournament, xc ski race or any of the other winter festivities planned for this weekend's Brrrmidji Polar Daze?

Unfortunately, I think I would die. its been a long time since I ran that far. Maybe next month at the Eelpout festival in Walker. That's my goal.
